The accused wax remanded, and mean time the police communicated with the authorities at Gisborne, and received a reply by telegram that Tricker had certainly committed bigamy, iv-, cently at that place,and intimating that a wan-ant for his apprehension would be forwarded by the first opportunity. The accused appeared on remand at the Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday, and was further remanded . j till Tuesday next, by which time it j is believed. the warrant on both charges will have arrived, .
