At the yards on Wednesday bidding was dull and the attendance smaller than usUal, owing to the sitting of the Supreme Court. I sold the bulk of the stock after the auction. Cattle— Milch Cows, £3 10s and £4 los; steers, £2 15s and £2 17s 6d ; 2-year-old heifers, £2 5s to £2 10s ; yearlings, £1 3s and £1 7s. Sheep—Ewes m lamb, X2s 3d ; dry ewes up, Us and 12s 9d ; fat sheep, 12a 6d and 14s. . Pigs— At the St. Hill Street Yards the small number that came forward sold at late rates. ...... Horses— l sold nearly all that bffered on Wednesday, with no improvement m value.
