A despatch from General Gordon | dated Khartoum August 26, has been revived here by telegraph from the Nubian frontier. In the dispatch, General Gordon states that he is v awaitmg the arrival of; British troops m the Soudan and again requests that Zebahr Pasha may be cent to UmJ*i*h sterling. General Gordon also announces tbat he commands the road from Khartoum to Berber and that he intends to despatch a force to occupy the latter place m a few days from the date of his dispatch.
