Dunedin, Sept. 17. At a creditors' meeting, hold yesterday, m the estate of J. A. Evans, contractor, some extraordinary facts came out. Bodgloy, A fictitious contract was signed by Evans for J84430 10s, the ' actual amouut Veins* J23800, nnd tl • fictitious Biimwas inserted m onlurtbat Bodeley could boirowa larger amount than he otherwise could have done from the Equitable Building and InVtstnienb Society. Bodeley has now also filed his schedule. The Assignee jwid it was unquestionably a case of fraud, but it was a question whether the Bankruptcy Act conld dealwith it. The creditors passed ' a re^olutxoa that Evan.s had been a tool of Bodeley's m the matter. ' .
