Hibernian Society.
We understand the Catholic. body have made arrangements to start a branch of the Hibernian Society of Australia m Palmers Lou. The object of the Society, we believe, is mainly to afford the Catholic youths a means of developing their intellectual talents and of keeping them • from the many allurements, vhich do not tend to their moral or spiritual welfare. The; Society, 'hi though* originating with the Catholic body, is open to all /need*, and any youug man wishing to become a me iiber has only to communicate with the Committee or the Secretary, Mr G-ao. Duug-in. Messrs Stratford, Weight, Grenann, Sheerin (2),-a.nd »^ number of others on the Committee" will be happy to receive the names of those desiring to join.
