The tuuuer was sentenced to two years' and tho latter to eight years'. The Judge remarked that 'Johnston appeared to ■he a ''professional forger. Thomas Keating John Atkinson, and Mary^, Ann Sullivan, were charged with' the robbery m- a brothel, of the sum of i-70 from a carter. They were acquitted, the Judgß dissenting fronV the finding of the jury. Tnverc vi gill, Sept. 9. Mr T. Bichall, of Wrey's Bush, had a stack of, oats and wheat de stroyed by Tiro on Monday night.
