MELBOURNE MARKETS.
Melbourne, Sept. 2. The Melbourne managerof the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited) report the local grain market as follows :— Wheat, 3s lOd to 3s lid. The market is dull and heavy. Malting barley is quiet at 4s to 4s 6d. New. Zealand oats—Feeding sorts are m fair demand at 2s lid to 3s 2d ; milling sorts 3s 2d to 3s 4d, with moderate inquiry. New Zealand oats, under boud, 2ssdto 2s 7d. The market is steady but not active. -
