DAIRY FACTORIES.

We learn that Mr Ferguson hears from Mr J. Monrad by every mail. The latter informs him that dairy factories are creating a wonderful revolution m America. In whole districts where before their introduction depression was the rule everywhere, and small farmers eked out a hand to month existence, since the factories have been established, an era of prosperity has set m that was never believed possible. The farmers are well to do, easy m their circumstances, and quite hopeful, where before they were downcast, poverty-stricken, and desponding. Verily, this is valuable testimony, and should be pondered over by farmers m New Zealand, where the conditions are so much more favourable to satisfactory results than m America. We trust its experience m this respect will be that of New Zealand before long.
