THE Signals m case of fire are given m the following manner : — Toll the bell rapidly, then pause m ringing for a few seconds. Make 1, 2, 3, or 4 single strokes, indicating the number of the Ward m which the fire is. Pause again for a few seconds, and afterwards ring the bell again, and so alternately.
