The machinery and works of the | New Zealand Kcfrijjeratiug Company at Buruside are now being heavily taxed, as the company intend to send 8000 to 9000 carcases by the Tonga riro about the 25 th. instant, and are also sending over 5000 frozen sheep by the Florida early next month.. The company's new buildings ,at Oamarn are nearly finished, and it is anticipated that before the Elderslio arrives every thing will be' in sufficient order for thehi to carry o\tt their contract with Mr Reid, of killing the sheep that are to : be -frozen- on board, 4 and sent home by the Elderslie. Qver 88,000 carcases have . been shipped from Port Chalnjprs' 'since the beginning of the present y(fkr.
