Wellington Produce markets. Wellington, Thursday Morning. Laery and Campbell report : — " Prime samples of butter have been asked for during the week, but is uot at present to be met with. Eggs have been m demand at Is 4d per doz. Poultry is wanted, and very little coming forward. In farm produce the most notable event during, t'uu week is the advauce m potatoes, which have become : temporarily very scarce. The market is quite bare of maize. Oats are hardening at the. shipping ports, although no advance baa been made m the price here. Other produce is without material alteration from last quotations. The horse sale on Saturday did not produce many entries, a well-selected mob of horses would at present without doubt realise fair prices.
