Melbourne, August 21. The Melbourne manager of the National Mortgage ' and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited) reports of the local grain market as follows :— Wheat, 3s lOd to 3s x lld. The market is dull and drooping. Malting barley, 3s 9dto4s4d. Prices show a slightly improved tendency. New Zealand oats — feeding sorts, 2s lid to 3s Id, with a tendency to harden. There is an active demand- for milling sorts, and prices are fixtn at 3s 2d to 3s 3d. New Zealand oafs/ under ..bond, 2s 3d to 2s sd. . The, timber market is rtnehariged. ■•■■■-
