The Political Position.
(Special to the Standard J t [BY CABLE.] Wellington, This Day. A statement appeared m last night's Post that Mr Orraond had an interview with the Governor and had placed himself m communication with Sir Julius. This is contradicted m the Times, which statei on the best authority that his Excellency has not yet commissioned any one to form a Ministry.
