Telegrams from Siiakim state that that town was attacked yesterday by a strong force of rebels who had been gathering m the neighborhood for some days past. The attack was repulsed by the British troops stationed at Suakim and the enemy suffered heavily. The weather is now extremely hot and the troops are suffering severely from its effects, a considerable number being m the hospital from sunstroke.
