To Town Subscribers.

"We remind our town subscribers that they will be called upon for a settlement of their respective accounts on Monday next by a collector from this office, and we trust that m every cane prom.pt settlements will be made. Thoae on whom the collector has not time to call on Monday, will be waited on during the following days until the whole list is completed. On every fourth Monday, henceforth, the same round will be taken, and, we would ask our subscribers-rreapeciully th,ose who have requested us to inaugurate this new system — not to require the collector to make a second call. The same system works well m Wanganni, and gave satisfation before whra employed by us. There are a large number of people, we are well aware, who would preter being called on monthly for their accounts, to letting them run on, from, quarter to quarter, till the amount becomes CQn*side.rable, and m some cases more than tbey can afford to pay. The amount of each four-weekly subscription v'ill be two shillings. Weekly and fortnightly subscriber* will be taken on, and the amounts called for ojo. th,e. co}lector : s. rounds. Quarterly subscribers m advance, (terras five shillings) will be received as at present, and the amounts due called, for at the commencement of each term.
