A Faithless Husband.
A man named Hanaen lately eloped from Aucklcnd with a Mra Compton, and was arrested fa xv i^ desertion and. taken back. The two vomen, when they met, had a violent ■efr»to, and were separated with diffienlty. Mrs Hanaen afterwards tiied to thvow herself out of the train, and threatened to commit suicide if taken from the door of her husband'B cell. She had to be locked up.
