With regard to the postal difficulties, it is announced that New Zealand threatens toP impose a sixpenny rate on letters forwarded via Brindisi route, unless "specially addressed. ,Mr Fawcetf, Po&tmasterGeheraV 'decline's 'to detain letters' for Australia so as to oblige the San Francisco mail service.
