The Company obtains under this agreement valuable waterrights, and the price to be paid mar be deemed satisfactory. The principal portion of the above land was subject to a lease to Mr Wollatid, and the Directors have purchased all Ms iitferest with the right of .immediate The waters of the stream have beea analysed by Dr Hector, who states that they are peculiarly adapted for tne purposes required. The site has been reported upon by experts, and pronounced to be one «f the most suitable m the whole colony tor a Woollen Foctory. The advantages ,of road, rail, and sea carriage at the factory gates, the close proximity of population, and th« impossibility of interfering with or injuring other properties, are certainly of the greatest consequence.
