Election*' Act, 1881," I, JOSEPH HARRIS, Returning Oiiicer of the Electoral District of Manawaiu, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the twenty-seventh day of June, 1884, under the hand of the' Clerk of the Writs, an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve a* Member for the said Electoral District, and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the Town Hall, Palmerston North, at Noon on the 16th day of July, 1884; i and tbat the poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several polling places of the said district on the 22nd day of July, 1884.
