The Gold Fever.
EXCITEMENT AT ROSS. (UNITED PBEBB ASSOCIATION.) Ross, July 11. Mobs of people leave here daily to look at reefs which are daily disclosing fresh stone of almost fabulous richness. They are not to be had at that figure to-day. "Swiss Republic," the adjoining lease on the vest, are fetching L2OO. For 24th part of shares m the Totara lease, adjoining the prospectors claim on th^ east, LIOO is refused. The prospectors reef has been traced a distance of eight chains. Many new leases are being taken up.
