Consols are quoted at par. : New Zealand securities are as follows : — 5 per cent. 10-40 loan, 104^ 5 per oent. 1889 loan, 103£ 4£ per cent. 1879-1904 loan, 101£ 4 per cent, inscribed stock, 100£ Bank rate of discount 2 per cent. Market rate of discount 1£ per cent. The wheat market is quiet. Adelaide, ex store, 40s New Zealand ditto, 34s to 40s Adelaide flour, ex store, 28s Australian tallow — Best beef, 35s 6d Best mutton, 375.
