Make 1, 2, 3, or 4 single strokes, indicating tbe number of the Ward m which the fire is. Pause again for a few seconds, and afterwards ring the bell again ; and .so alternately. The meeting places for the Brigade, m case of false alarm, are as under : — No. 1 Ward— The State School. No. 2 Ward— Richter, Nannestad, & Co.'s Saw Mill. No. 3 Ward — Gillett Bros.' Buildings m the Square. No. 4 Ward— Old Palmerston Hotel. In case of a fire occurring, the person first discovering the same is requested to ring tbe fire bell as indicated. •,; By Order.
