Make 1, 2, 3, or 4 single strokes, indicating the number of the Ward m which the fire is. Pause again tor a few seconds, and afterwards ring the bell again ; and so alternately. The meeting places for the Brigade, m case of false alarm, are as under : — No. 1 Ward— The State School. No. 2 Ward — Richter, Nannestad, & Co.'s Saw Mill. , No. 3 Ward— Gillett Bios.'
