MANAWATU ELECTION
MR MACARTHUR Al FEILDING.
I^ast night a large and influential meeting of the electors atFeilding, after listening to the address of Mr Macarthnr, passed a unanimous vote of confidence m him as a fit and proper person to represent them m Parliament. It was further resolved that this meeting pledge itself to do its utmost to ensure Mr Macarthur's return to Parliament. Afuller accountof the proceedings by our special reporter, will appear m our next issue.
