Some people are apt to use the. argument against Mr Mac Arthur's candidature, "Oh, he will only represent Feilding." Well,we ! shouldliketo know what he can do, or help to do, that will benefit iFeilding, and that will not also benefit to Palmerston, . We cannot see the force, of this argument at.. a11.. Mr . MACAftTHUft. has shown a very commendable anxiety to push on the construction of the Bridge at the Lower Ferry, "which is one of the most necessary public works m the district, and will benefit Paimerston more than Feilding; We feel satisfied he will conscibntiously represent the whole 'district,, and; hot aiiy. particular por;tion of it.
