London, June 19. . The oilicial trip of the South Australian gunboat Protector toot place to-day, when she attained a speed of 14-15 knots. Her guns were also tested and found to work admirably. The Protector will pro--bably sail for Australia on Tuesday, calling at Malta and Aden en route. She carries a crew numbering 60j—
