RESULT OF THE STEEPLECHASE INQUIRY.
A telegram was ieceived from Timarti on Saturday evening as follows :— Clarence disqualified for six months ; Hedge and the other jockey for ever." It will be remembered that m the (fraud National SU-eplechase at the last races Billy-go-l>y-'m went to the post but did not co over the course. The stewards decided to refer the matter to the committee of the Grand National Club, with the above result.
