Lonoo.-, June 12. The Earl of Derby has appointed an officer to atfend tho Maori Embassy. The petition of the natives will remain m abeyance until Tawhiao and his party hare had a consultation with Bishop Hadfiold, of Wellington, who arrived at Plymouth on Thursday by the Tongariro.
