AUSTKALIANS v. LANCARSHIRE,
(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. — COFYBIGET.) (redter's telegrams.) London, June 6. The cricket match Australians v. Lancashire was resume J to-day at m fine weather and before an enormous attendance of spectators. The local team with 5 wickets down for 108 continued their first innings which after an excellent display of batting closed for a total of 195 or 21 ahead of the Australians. The fielding of the visitors was excellent and alone prevented their opponents score being much larger than it was. After the usual interval the Australians vent m for their second innings [and a splendid display of batting ensued, with the result that when time was called for the day 202 runs had been put together for the loss of only three wickets. Later. The match was continued to-day. There was a good attendance of spectators aUhough heavy rains fell at intervals during the day and owing 10 the inclemency oi the weather play lad. to be stopped and the match drawn.' The Australians wiih a score of 202 runs continued their second innings and put together a total ior 8 wickets of 315 before play ceased.
