In the House of Commons last night the Government Bill announced l>y Mr Childers m the Budget statement for the conversion of consols from 3 per cent to %\ was icad a second time. Sir Gairn Duffey who was recently credited with an attempt lo revive the Young Ireland party, has disclaimed nny intention on his part to re-enter political life. It is reported on good authority that an agreement has been ai -rived at by Lord Gra^ille and "Wadington regarding the deportation of RecidivisLes to New Caledonia.
