West Coast Commission.
[ Wanr/anui Herald.}
The Mayawati; Standard hopes Ibat some member will ask the cost to the colony of the wonderful West Coast Comini-sion Report whbh it lias taken Sir William Fox so long to compile. We may add that the member who asks the question should insist upon the return specifying 1 salaries and travelling exponses of Sir William, his secretary (Mr E. D. Bell, a son of the Agent-General), and other officials attached to Hie Commission ; and also the cost of hiring or erecting houses between Waitotara and Op make, which became necessary through Sir William declining to stay even for a single night m an hotel. The House of .Representatives mid the public would find such a return highly iustruciive.
