Const -.ntinople, June 3. Disputes, which since the early part of* the year have existed between the Porte and Cretan Christians are now assuming a more serious phase, and illfeeling is daily intensifying. Rhotiades Pasha, the governor of the island, has resigned his office on account of the present state of affairs.
