Adelaide, May 27. The Birthday Cup was won by Ned of the Hills. A company has been formed to construct a graving dock at Harker's Creek, Fort Adelaide, capable of receiving the largest vessels afloat. Brisbane, May 27. Mr Garrick, the new AgentGeneral, met with an accident to his leg m alighting from a cab. He is unlikely to be able to leave Brisbane for England, as intended, for some time to come. Sydney, May 27. The Rev Father Barsari, a wellknowu Roman Catholic Clergyman, died on Saturday. The Victorian gunboats Victoria and Albert, and the torpedo boat Childers, arrived at Thursday Island on the 18th insi., all well.
