Royal Marriage.

Prince Louis of Battenlurg was inartied to Princess Victoiia of Hesse on April 30th. The streets were profusely decorated with flags, and thronged with sightseers. After the performance of the civil marriage, the bride was led to the Palace chapel by the mother of the Grand Duke Louis. They were followed by a procession composed of royal guest", Queen "Victoria leading, followed by the Prince and Princess Imperial of Germany, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Beatrice, Prince Frederick "William' of Prussia, and Prince Alexandria of Bulgaria. When the bride and bridegroom exchanged rings at the altar, a salute of thirty-six guns •was fired. Queen Victoria stood during the choral portion of the services. At the conlusion of the ceremony she embraced the couple. The bride wore the veil of her mother, the late Princess Alice. AH the guests eicept Queen Victoria, attended the banquet m the evening. The only toa*«t drank was to health of the newly-wedded pair, who afterwards started for Jugenheins amid the plaudits of throngs of people The streets were beautifully illuminated.
