The Feildins; Star has received a letter from Mr Chamberlain, our respected fellow-citizen, dateJ Sydney, the 15th instant, m which he informs us that the climate ofth.it city does not agr<>e with him so well as he hoped ancl expected. The sea voyage did him much good, and entirely reslored his appetite. Shortly after his arrival , m Sydney he became ill, and had to ' call m the services of a mediqal man, who was able to do him much good. Mr Chamberlain proposes to ; return sit once with Mr James Linton, unless he receives moie benefit than he has done as yet. He states that Sydney is much altered since he last visited it. The streets are dreadfully narrowand unable to fulfil the requirements of the daily increasing traffic. Business of all kind is far more briskthere than at Melbourne, and the people are move confident. Mr Chamberlain expects to start on his return journey some time this week. .His -many friends m the Manavvatu will be" -glad to see him back again restored to his wonted good health.
