EGYPTIAN AFFAIRS.
Cairo, May 27. Letters have been received here from Statin Bey, Governor-General of Darfur, (extensive Territory belonging to Egypt to westward of Kordofan) announcing that supplies having become exhausted he has yielded to the rebels m order to avoid bloodshed, and the capital of Fashr is now m the hand of the Mahdiites.
