AFFAIRS IN SOUDAN.
London, May 16. In the House of Lords to-day, Earl Granville announced that the Government received a telegram from Cairo announcing that the refugees from Berber and Korosko who have arrived at Assauan, on the Fgyptian border, report that General Gordon was well when last advices were despatched from Khartoum.
