Hack Hurdle Race of 10 soys — Once round the course, pest entries of 1 soy, weight not to be under 9 stone, open to all hoives thai have never been cnteied for any advertised nice. Hack Races excepted. Jockeys to ride m colours. To start at 11.4.5 a.m. 3. Maiden Plate of 15 sovs.— Jfintvauce 30 shillings, weight for age, distance 1£ miles, open to all horses that have never won public money, prior to date of entry, hack l aces excepted. Any horse entered for the above, winning- a race between date of entry and race, to carry a penally of 51b. To start at 12.30 p.m. 4. 2Towl Race of 20 soys, once round the course, post entries of 1 soy, weight not to be less than S stone. For all horses which have been the bona fide property of residents within the Borough boundary, since first day of January, 1884, and that have never been entered for an advertised race, hack races excepted. The winner of this race to beeouie the property of the Stewards, and to be : sold immediately after the race. Any other horse m the race may be claimed for the sum of £20, the, said sum to be paid to the owner, and any further sum realised, to go to thy funds of the meeting. To start at 1.15 p.m. 5. Palmerston Guineas. A Handicap of 50 Guineas. Nomination 1 guinea, acceptance 2 guineas, distance, If miles. To start at 2.30 p.m. 6. Trademen's Purse of 5 soys. Entrance 10s. Once round the course. Catch weights. For bona fide business hacks, that have been used m connection with the working of any business, within the Borough for 3 months prior to date of race. " 7. Flying Handicap of 25 soys. — Nomination 1 soy, acceptance 1 soy, distance £ of a mile. To start at 3.45 p.m. 8. The Officials' Hack Race.— A Sweepstake of 1 soy, with 5 soys added. Once round the course. Weight not to be less' than 12 stone.
