Manawaru Road Board.

THIS DAY. There was no attendance of ratepayers at the general meeting called for to-day. Wardens Fair,and Pratt and the clerk were, present. The Clerk of the Board received a telegram to the effect that the balance of the £500 applied for under the Roads and Bridges Construction Act for Tiritea Line, viz. £200, would be forwarded m a couple of days. It was decided to pay off the balance owing to Anderson on his contract.
