The Oriental Bank Coporation, "which suspended payment on the 3rd inst., was compelled to aclopt this course m consequence ©f the rapid and unexpected withdrawal of deposits at its Eastern branches. An examination, which has baen already made, of the available assets, show that depositors will probably receive 17s 6d m the pound, and m the meantime the liquidators will undertake the management of the Com--pany's estates m the Mauritius.
