COLLISION AT SEA.
LOSS OF AMERICAN STEAMER. A TERRIBLE CASUALTY. OVER A HUNDRED PERSONS DROWNED. (by electric telegraph-copyright.) (kEUTJSR's TELEGIIAMS ) London. May 7. Intelligence is to hand that the steamship State of Florida, trading between Glasgow and America, which is several days overdue came into collision with a barque m the Atlantic and foundered almost immediately. Of the 167 souls .on board only 44 were rescued by the barque or saved m the steamer's boats.
