For all horses which have been the boua fide property of residents wilhin the Borough boundary, since first day of January, 1884, and that have, never been entered for an advertised race, hack races excepted. The winner of this race to become the properly of the Stewards, and to be sold immediately after the race. Any other horse m the race may be claimed for the sum of £20, the said sum to be paid to the owner, and any further sum realised, to go to the funds of the meeting. To start at 1.15 p.m. 5. Palmerston Guineas. A Handicap of 50 Guineas. Nomination 1 guinea, acceptance 2 g-uinuiis, distance, If miles. To start at 2.30 p.m. 6. Trademen's Purse of 5 soys. Entrance 10s. Once round the course. Catch weights, tfor bona fide business hacks, that have been used m connection with the workina of auy business, within the Borou/i for_3 months prior, to date of race. 7.
