Death of a Lunatic.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, April 30. Captain Johnny Bowerman Patrick Mot an, an old pensioner who had been committed to gaol for vagrancy on the 28th April, died this morning m th« guol. Three of his ribs were discovered to be broken. Lt is alleged that Moran stated before his death that the injuries received were the result of an accident. An inquest is to be held.
