(TO- THE EDITOR OF THE STANDARD.) Sir,— Who is the snake m thegra.ss, the social viper, if T must call him so, who is working out his vile plots against members of this community ? Who, Sir, is safe ? 'Whose turn will it lie next to be re, prted on, and made to suffer? Let us make an example of the creature, and show him out m his true colours, a spectacle to gods and men. Poor Mrs Gillespie! I felt for her when reading 1 your local last night. Hourly expecting her trouble, but forced to remove. I hope, Sir, it. will come to his turn some day. — I am, &c\, Nemesis.
