Police Changes.
- Constable Gillespie last' night veccived orders to remove to Feilding to-morrow, his place heve being filled by Constable Manning, of Bulls. This is very short notice, and what makes the hardship of his sudden n-moval all the greater i< the fact that Mrs Gillespi<vs state of health is *uch that she does, not know one moment from another when locomotion will for her. impossible, there being 'also seven othei children to look after, besides packing up, &c On the whole, the trouble, annoyance, and inconvenience that have bfen caused through the instrumentality of one evil disposed individual m the community are enough to cause a display of. popular indignation. Much sympathy is felt with Mrs Gillespie, for whom quarters will have to be temporarily provided, as removal for her is out of the question for sometime -to come.
