Butter.— Prime new butter has had a ifobA deal of attention, and at our Friday's auction we obtained the following satisfactory rates, after spirited competition : Prime wild New Zealand, m Australian kegs, is 7£d per lb » aud m New Zealand kegs, Is 2d to Is 5d per lb ; fresh roll m pickle, Is s£d to la 6| per lb; Common salt, lOd to Is per lb ; inferior, 8d to 9d per lb. . ' Oats.-— With mated np to 69 T>er bushel, it is hardly surprising that heavy oats should have taken a spurt m the ritfht direction.
