The operation undergone by the I defendant consisted of an attempt Ito remove or hide a scar caused by a | kick from a horse 'some years previously.' ; A silver plate. was placed over the disfigurement, and the whole was covered with skin .removed from the arm, The attempt did not prove successful, m consequence of alleged unskilful treatment, and proceedings were iiistitu ted against the operator. The Vase 1 for the plaintiff was> conducted by Mr. Travers, Mr Shaw appeared on the other side. The depositions of the witnesses will be forwarded to Feilding, where the suit will be decided.'
