(by electric telegraphs-copyright) (special to united frkss association.) London, A pril 22. A very .severe .shock ef earthquake has been felt m rhe East of England. Ie was felt most severely m the couu:ies of Essex and Suffolk. The damage at Colchester, m Essex, is estimated at £10,000. Tsvo churches and several vil ages were wrecked. The shock was felt heavily at Ipswich, Chelmsford, and the village of Southend. The shock was likewise experienced m the Strand. No one was injured.
