Mr Torrens, presiding at a metting of the shareholders of the Bank of Adelaide to-day, considered that the monetary pressure of the colony would not be remoyed^until the value ol the wheat crop BurpkuThad beeu circulated. He further stated that there was no immediate prospect of a rise m the price of wheat.
