Hardcastle, R.M., and District Court Jud^e, Wellington, having obtained 12 months' leave of absence 1 several changes of Judical Benches have become necessary m ihis district. Mr- Wardell, Magistrate of Waif arapa, will lake charge of lie Magistrates Opuub of Wellington as well as that m his" own district. Mr Gr. B. Davy will act as Deputy Judge of Wellington and Wairarapa District . Opurfcts. 0 E. j Rawson, District Judge of New Plymouth, will act as Deputy Judge of the District Court at Palmerston Npsth and \Vangan9i, and,it r i^ understood that the Government have under consider^atioa anew scale of fees for the Supreme Court and. Magistrates Courl, and that m certain charges there will be a substantial increase.
